ALSTOM Sweden - Barnaby Noble joins ALSTOM

Effective 5 September 2005, Barnaby Noble joins ALSTOM. He is appointed Vice President – Head of Mergers and Acquisitions and reports directly to Henri Poupart-Lafarge, CFO of ALSTOM.

Barnaby Noble was previously a Principal in the Paris office of Permira Europe, the private equity firm.

He began his career in 1988 with the First Boston Corporation of New York, before joining McKinsey & Co. in Paris in 1992 where he became an Engagement Manager. This was followed by a position at Credit Suisse First Boston in Paris in 1996 as Vice President, Investment Banking.

Barnaby Noble holds a degree in Art History from Brown University, USA, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
